1) Perfectly cooked, fresh free-range eggs (a gift from friends of my parents who keep hens), with wholemeal toast soldiers make a delicious start to the day!

2) Walking round to visit a friend, with the kids.

3) We’re in the Lake District this weekend – although I know it to be beautiful, rather than seeing it, given we arrived after dark!
