1) We went to the zoo today, and the penguins were having a ball – whizzing through the water playing chase in pairs, leaping out of the water in synchrony, and then switching roles. They ended their impromptu show with about thirty of them swimming in one mad rush from one end of the pool to the other, and back again. I’ve never seen anything like it!

I didn’t manage to get any pics of the penguins today, but I thought that I would gratuitously include a couple of shots of the kids taken while we were at the zoo today (in the Monkey House to be precise!).

 

2) A bunch of snowdrops adorns my table – even if there are none to be seen outside, at least I’ve got a taste of Spring inside!

3) After many messages back and forth, we finally agree on a time and a place!
