Looking, sharing and baking.

1) I looked here, I looked there, in fact I looked in lots of places. And I eventually found what I was looking for.

2) There was a very little sugar left in the bottom of the ramekin, which the kids had for dipping their mini-doughnuts in (special treat). A asked me if he could eat it, and on my reply in the affirmative, immediately went off to share it with his sister.

3) Today was the day of the annual cake-marathon at my house. It’s K’s birthday tomorrow, so tomorrow he will take to work* a large (feeds 16) chocolate peanut butter cheesecake, 12 cream-cheese icing frosted black bottom cupcakes and 12 lime and coconut buttercream frosted vanilla cupcakes.

* I’m actually quite happy with this – after A’s four birthday cakes, and the prospect of making K’s actual birthday cake for the family celebration on Sunday, I’m feeling somewhat “caked out” at the moment, and will be quite happy not to have any of it!
