1) To tick off items on my To-Do list.
2) To discover that the pile of nettles and grasses A collected from the stream a couple of weeks ago, and which have lain cluttering up the back garden for a couple of weeks, have been tidied up, without me even asking for it to be done!
3) I’ve got a couple of FO’s to show you today – here is my Lacy Scarf, completed at last! M agreed to model it for me, but hopefully I’ll get some better pics up on my Rav page eventually.
It’s knitted in Rowan Kid Silk Haze, a 70% mohair 30% silk yarn, which is incredibly light and soft. In this pattern, it was a bit of a nightmare to knit with, but I love the result!
My other FO is this little pair of mitts I knitted in an evening just before we went camping – very quick, and so easy I knocked off another pair for M while we were on holiday…

Your scarf is so pretty. I love it.
I love the scarf – it’s so whispy and ethereal!
That scarf is beautiful. I love the way it looks like cloud that has been knitted. I am sure everytime you wear it you will be glad you battled through
Thank you! I love the idea of a knitted cloud – certainly it’s the colour of most clouds here in Scotland this summer!
