1) The kids occupy themselves with finishing off the great art cupboard tidy-up. The finished result is pretty impressive 🙂 .
2) A tells me his grand schemes to do with creating a depth guage for the stream behind our house while we visit our friends this morning. I correctly predicted K’s response to hearing these plans to my friend… “we’ll have some fun working out to implement those!”, says he.
3) Well, it’s been a couple of weeks since I was last able to post a Wednesday Work-in-Progress, and I can report that I cast-off my Lacy Scarf yesterday! It isn’t blocked yet, but hopefully I’ll have an FO to show you come Friday!
I’ve made some progress with Megan’s Big Sister Dress – the collar is complete, and I’m knitting down the tunic part of the dress now. That’s going to take a while!
And finally, given we’re going camping next week, I wanted a wee pair of fingerless mitts to keep my hands warm of an evening. I’ve chosen this pattern, which you’ll be able to see if you’re on Ravelry. Unforuantely I don’t think it’s available publically. But I love the pattern – extremely simple, but pretty too 🙂 .
Over at Tami’s Amis, Tami is celebrating her 100th WIP Wednesday! Do pop over to check out some of today’s other fab Works-in-Progress…
Works fine (free PDF) even as a non-Ravelry member.
