There were a couple of long car journeys, and a little more time to knit this week, so I’ve made some progress with Wasabi – the cardi I’m knitting for M.
It’s been going reasonably well, but after trying it on M last night, I’ve realised that the buttonholes are spaced a little too far apart for my liking. After taking this photo, I actually took a few rows back and placed the second buttonhole closer to the first. There will be five in total by the end. I suppose I could just have left it where it was, but then I’d only have had space for four buttonholes, and that just doesn’t seem to balance right in my mind.
For a bit of light relief from Wasabi’s tiny stitches, I cast on this ruffle scarf. To be honest, I’m not really enjoying knitting it, but it’s kind of cute, so I try to do at least a couple of rows every day!
That’s it from me today, but do check out what other’s have been up to over at WIP Wednesday with Tami’s Amis, and visit Ginny’s Yarn Along.
Love the Wasabi!! Can’t remember if I added that to my queue. Off to check. I have avoided those scarves with a passion. The end product just doesn’t justify the effort in my mind.
Wasabi is beautiful!
