Mountain loaf, dinner for four, and in flight.

1) Lunch was home-made Norwegian Mountain loaf. It was very good.

2) The day went a bit crazy on me, and I hadn’t managed to make the kids their dinner. K came home and said that it wasn’t a problem, made some pasta and fifteen minutes later we all sat down to dinner together – a rare event on weekdays!

3) We spotted a heron on the other side of the canal. Then we spotted a second on the towpath just ahead of us. As we approached it, it took flight and wheeled over us in a huge circle, heading off in the direction of its mate.
