We were away with family at the weekend, so I didn’t have a whole lot of time to knit. However, I have completed the body of my Navy Razor Cami, and I found time yesterday to cast-on for another gift project.
The Razor Cami now just needs the side seam sewn (just the depth of ribbed edge along the top of the back), and then edged along the front top with a sparkly yarn. After that all I’ll have left to do is knit the straps, and then block the garment…

The second project is a gift for one of the kids teachers. I’ve chosen A Little Bit Bohemian, by Rebecca Stromgren. Once again, I’m using King Cole Bamboo Cotton Solids, this time in black. I really like this yarn – it’s got such a summery feel, and the pattern is proving quick and simple – fun to knit.
