More carrots, Eggs Benedict, and a family meal

1) Megan, who has previously refused to eat carrots, discovered (at school dinners) that she actually quite likes them! In the middle of the night last night, she turns over and mumbles “more carrots please”… Very glad we’ve found another vegetable she likes!

2) We come home from church, and there’s no bread for lunch. Then we discover some English muffins, and some bacon, and some eggs… the makings of a yummy lunch, and the ideal opportunity for K to try home-made hollandaise sauce – delicious Eggs Benedict! (and happy memories of Moyra Janes tea rooms in Glasgow.)

3) A family dinner, with my aunt and uncle, whom we haven’t seen in months 🙂 .
