Improvement, cards, and walk.

1) I go for my final physio session, and she once again examines my shoulder. She’s very pleased at the improvement.  So am I!

2) The kids work very hard this afternoon, making beautiful get-well-soon cards for one of their cousins.

3) While the kids were at cycling club, K and I were able to go for a lovely walk just the two of us.

Tidy, not as long, and unopened.

1) I tidy up the messy corner – the bottom shelf of the bookcase, which has accumulated vast quantities of kid-debris. It looks much better now.

2) The meeting didn’t last as long, and went better, than we feared.

3) A card arrives by post. It’s for me. I don’t open it!

Enforced relaxation, fresh peas and an unexpected card…

1) I am house-sitting this morning, while tradesmen do some work for my parents. I spend the morning reading and knitting.

2) Peas, eaten straight from the pod, crisp and sweet.

3) M is busy at the table with some craft or other. Finally she brings it to me – it is a card with “I love you Mummy” written beautifully inside, and decorated with hearts and flowers… “Now any time you think I don’t love you Mummy, all you need to do is open up the card!”.

Email, Tennis, Card

1) Switching on my computer this morning to find the following email awaiting me:

Flight BA 283

From London (LHR) to Los Angeles (LAX)

Actual arrival 16:08

Thank you for using www.Airport-LA.com

How cool is that?! I know that Mum and Dad’s flight landed safely!

2) Watching Andy Murray’s match this morning 🙂 .

3) Completely unnecessary kindness: K receives a letter today from someone we don’t know – she sent a Christmas card here in error, so K returned it with an accompanying note. She replied with a lovely note thanking him for his honesty (the card apparently contained £20), telling him she made his day, and enclosing £20 for him to spend on a bar lunch!
